Waringstown 2nd XI v Ballymena 2nd XI 
Ballymena 2nd XI began the new season in Junior 1 with an away fixture to reigning champions Waringstown.
Waringstown batted first and put a good score on the board of 238 for 8 in 50 overs. The pick of the bowling was Sam Glass with 2 for 32 off 10 and John Glass with 2 for 23 off 6.
Ballymena were 50 for 5 in reply but an excellent innings of 75 by Ricky McNeil supported by 24 from Owen Dick and 38 from Sam Glass pushed Ballymena to respectability and 192 all out.
Waringstown were just a bit better on the day.
