Welcome to Ballymena Ladies! We were formed in November 2017, and since then our numbers have grown, and continueto grow steadily. We currently have players aged 12 yrs to 18 yrs +, and field teams at U14, U16 and U18 levels. We train on a Wednesday evening 7.00 – 8.30 pm.All abilities are welcome, from complete beginners, to those with previous experience.

September – Exciting news ………. Under 12’s training will commence Wednesday 25th September 6pm – 7.00pm. So if you’d like to give rugby a try, have a go at something new and have a lot of fun, come along!
We’ve held 2 registration evenings over the summer with 20girls joining us again from last season, and 15 new recruits!
August – A very busy summer has been had at Ballymena Ladies. BRFC was chosen as one of 8 clubs in Ulster to run the IRFU 8 week Give It A Try programme, aimed at girls aged 10 – 14 yrs. This was hugely successful with 35 girls giving rugby a try, many for the first time, with Ballymena RFC consistently achieving the highest number of attendees over the 8 week period. August saw us joining coaches, fellow youth players and parents in some social tag rugby, and our pre season gym sessions have been proving very popular.
Well done to the 9 girls who participated in the Ulster Regional Development Sessions this season, and to the 4 who went on to attend selection matches for the U18 Ulster team.
March – Ballymena Ladies host our first home blitz with over 120 girls attending!
