It was a pleasure to welcome Tony Darcy and his wife Cath back to the Club last night.
Tony was Head Coach during the 2002/3 season, when the Club won the All Ireland League.
The evening provided the opportunity for many of our All Ireland League winning squad to reminisce about their experiences, both on and off the pitch, under Tony’s leadership.
Tony gave a talk on his time at Ballymena, and his experiences since. He highlighted the positive impact that the Club had on him and his family, and how supportive the Club had been and continue to be.
There was a great turnout, highlighting the lifelong friendships that were formed during his tenure at the Club, and the esteem with which Tony is held.
We wish Tony & Cath a safe journey onwards and hope they enjoyed their brief stay in Ballymena.
