It is with regret that the Board of Directors of Ballymena RFC inform members of the passing of highly esteemed, life member Dr. Robin Dick. Robin’s contribution to Ballymena RFC over many years, could not be over-emphasised.
A former 1st XV player and coach, Robin was also responsible for the introduction of Squash at Eaton Park and the building of the squash courts which today holds our club gym. He was instrumental in floodlighting the meadow and training pitches, served for many years on our Executive Committee and in later life was a Trustee.
Robin is perhaps best remembered by many, as our 1st XV doctor. A role he fulfilled diligently for numerous years.
On behalf of everyone connected with Ballymena RFC could we extend our sincere condolences to his wife Frankie, daughter Heather, sons Mark and Colin, the wider family circle, and to all who mourn Robin’s passing.
