On Saturday past our mini section made the short trip to visit St Marys GAA club in Ahoghill for a joint training session. Things kicked off with all the children working on basic Gaelic football skills taught by the St Marys coaching team.
After a fantastic break it was time for everyone to have a go at rugby. We were made to feel very welcome and hopefully it’s something we’ll be able to do again. It would be great if both clubs benefited from players playing for the two teams, especially moving into the youth set up.
Thanks again St Marys for everything you had done to make the morning such a success.
