U18s Battle Hard Against Cup Winners

Ballymena/Inishowen U18s put in a strong performance against Cup winners Banbridge/Malone/Larne/Ophir in their penultimate league match. Despite a close contest, the home side edged the win. Ballymena/Inishowen showed plenty of positives to build on ahead of their final league game and Shield Final. Try scorers included Eva (3), Orlaith, and Kate, with Erin adding a conversion. Thanks to Malone for their hospitality, the referee Alan, and the travelling supporters. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to injured players.

U16s Show Grit in Season Finale

Ballymena/Cooke U16s put up a determined fight against Banbridge despite the challenging scoreline. Their hard work in training was evident, with strong multi-phase attacks throughout the match. Captain Katy provided a standout moment with a brilliant blindside try from halfway. The team’s resilience and teamwork highlight a promising future. Thanks to supporters at Eaton Park and to Stephen for capturing the action.

U14s End League with Fighting Performance

Ballymena U14s wrapped up their league campaign with a spirited home performance, though they fell to a visiting Civil Service/Ards/Donaghadee/Carrick side. Captain Anna Murray set the tone with an early try and later completed a hat-trick. Strong defensive efforts from the back row and midfield kept the contest competitive. Ballymena improved in the second half, securing more possession and creating chances, but were held up on multiple occasions. Despite the loss, the team showed significant progress since their last meeting. Special thanks to guest players, referee James Orr, and the supportive crowd.
