24/25 SEASON KICKS OFF
In a very competitive game that was physical from the get go and never relented for the entire 80 minutes, it was a great spectacle of rugby.
Lisburn scored the only try of the game in the opening 10 minutes and from there on it was a very close contest. Ballymena showed great resilience in defence all over the pitch, not allowing Lisburn to cross the white wash for the rest of the game. While it’s a loss, the team are taking a lot of positives from their first outing in Championship A.
Well done to Seonáidh who was awarded Ballymena’s POTM for a stand out performance.
