This weekend Ballymena 1st XV take on Munster based, UL Bohemians in Round 11 of the Energia AIL at Eaton Park.
Ballymena will be looking to avenge the narrow defeat suffered at the hands of Bohs in Round 8.
Having come out on top of 2 narrow back to back victories over Rainey OB, the Braidmen will hope to get their third victory on the bounce.
There are no changes in the pack from the side that faced Rainey OB. The front row who enjoyed good scrum dominance led by Chris Cundell will hope to put the squeeze on UL Bohs. Cundell is joined by Joseph Mawhinney and James McCormick. Providing cover for the front row will be experienced duo, Andrew Ferguson and James Taggart.
JJ McKee made a welcome return to AIL action following a period on the sidelines and he again will join Paddy Browe in the 2nd row. James McNabney starts at 6 following a superb performance last week and is joined in the back-row by the ever-impressive Adam Lamont and Azur Allison. Jonny Browne and James Howe will look to make impacts from the bench.
Head Coach, Nicholl has been dealt a big blow in the backs with Tim Small unfortunately looking set to face a period of time on the sidelines after suffering what looked like a serious injury against Rainey OB. Ross McKay will look to take over from the reliable boot of Small who had already amassed over 100 points this season. James Wright will partner with McKay as he comes in at 9 after missing last week through injury. Pierce Crowe and Mark Thompson continue in the centres after a very strong defensive display last week. 2 changes in the back-three see Rhys Ervine return on the right wing with Rodger McBurney returning at 15 with Matthew Corr on the left-wing. With Nicholl opting for a 4-1 split on the bench, Glen Baillie will provide cover for the backline.
Kick-off it at 14:30 at Eaton Park. Get out to support the boys. You can also follow live match updates on our Twitter Feed.
